Recently I put on an exhibition "Srangeways" to art in The Preistman Buildings in the University of Sunderland. It was a great success and lots of people attended. I provided a guest book for visitors to write reviews and was very pleased with the outcome. So I decided that I wanted to take my exhibition down to London. While in London I visited a number of art galleries but with no one interested in showing my current work.

Some of Michelangelo work reminded me of this painting that I completed on canvass 8ftx4ft due to its composition and grouping of people.

As I was in London I had to visit the Birthplace of the Krays. Which is in Vallance road.

I visited the Blind Beggar Pub in Chappletown where Ronnie Kray murdered George Cornell. The Krays and gangsters are a huge influence on my art.

The rejection in London had not deterred me, and on my return, I contacted various people through social media. The result of this has been that a business man called Jeff Gatsby has been in touch and has informed me that he has a boxing tournament called The Road to Spain arranged for 1 April 2017 in London, and has invited me to exhibit my work in a corner of the venue. This gives me the opportunity to show my work to the broader public. Hopefully, with the help of a grant from the Futures Group at the University of Sunderland, this will now be possible.
