Illustrator Mark Todd

Mark grew up in the 70s near Vegas and was influenced by Star Wars and comic books. He attended the Art Center College of Design in California where he graduated with honors (http://marktoddillustration.com.).

He has a loose style with precise mark-making as well as a dingy colour palette. He paints characters in a naive style, using lopsided hand-written titles.

I created this one for the Guv'nor title which took place at The Grand, London. It was auctioned off and the proceeds went to charity. I have also used grungy colours and have hand painted text.
