Edward Richardson learnt to paint in prison and has become a well-known painter. I met up with Richardson at Charles Salvador's wedding and recorded a conversation about how he discovered art while serving his life sentence. Naturally he had lots of time on his hands, and like many outsider artists he became engrossed in his art that he became a prolific artist producing thousands of works. Richardson has put on several exhibitions and has sold to private collectors all over the world. His works are similar to Norman Cornish. Both art works show everyday life.
