Preparing for my exhibition

On 4th March, there is a boxing venue at the Rainton Meadows Arena. The boxing promoter , Phillip Jeffries, has kindly invited me to show my art exhibition Strangeways to Art.

This week I have been sorting out which pieces to exhibit. This is very time consuming, especially as I cannot hang the paintings in a conventional way by using fixings on walls. Instead I have had to purchase velcro to stick to the back of each individual painting.

In addition, I have had to sort out the hiring of a van to transport my exhibition to and from Rainton Meadows. I will enlist the help of two of my grandsons to help me install the exhibition. They will be on minimum wage, and free pop and crisps.

This is a selection of some of my works that will be shown at the exhibition.
